The Conrad and Atas Ombak - Bali

WOW! What can I say? Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and so much more and we have you guys to thank!

From the day we decided to book our wedding through Global Weddings, you were always so reliable, helpful and basically took any stress that we had away. We  just can’t thank you guys enough for the endless hours of work and commitment you put into our wedding and we know we may be biased but Narelle , you really set the most beautiful wedding scene I have ever seen!

Thanks for booking the most wonderful band , delicious  food, drinks, location-not to mention the flowers- everything was just DIVINE! Narelle, you went above and beyond anything I expected from a wedding planner and you made me feel so relaxed as you took care of every tiny little detail. I also have to thank you for the loan of your playstation singstar, haha, it made the end of our wedding night so much fun!

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU so very, very much for making our whole wedding experience the best time of our lives!

Lots of Love

The Legian - Bali

I started with nothing, and you gave me everything! Your taste and style was just supreme and the whole process was made so easy and simple because of you. I heard and still hear all these horror stories about "planning and organising for weddings", but I don't think I actually stressed at all? Actually, the whole thing was so simple and easy for me, I really did nothing.

Thanks again Narelle. You are BRILLIANT at what you do! Would recommend you to ANYONE planning on getting married overseas, especially women in business who just don't have the patience or time to have to organise it themselves. If your planning fee was 5 times more. you'd still be worth every cent.

THANK YOU!

Belle Mare Plage - Mauritius

Wow, that was our first impression on arriving at our hotel the Belle Mare Plaqe in Mauritius for our dream wedding.

It all started 1.5years earlier when Ronnie and I decided to marry after almost 12 years together. We wanted and intimate affair so chose a destination wedding overseas. Mauritius just seemed to pop into our heads as a great tropical location.

We scoured the Internet in search of an overseas wedding planner as we new it would be a huge task especially as we lived in a small town in Far North Western Australia. I came across the Global Wedding site and it looked perfect for our needs. I emailed Narelle with some general questions and received a reply the very next day. She took absolutely all of the stress out of organising our wedding. I actually can’t remember a time when I was stressed at all during the whole process.
Narelle liased with the hotel Wedding Co-ordinate Sandrine and answered all our questions (there were many) promptly. Unfortunate our hotel was booked out and I couldn’t get the villa that I wanted, but alas the day before flying out Narelle called and said the hotel had upgraded the whole wedding party and that we in fact had 5 villas, with our own pools and butlers. It didn’t stop there. We arrived at the airport and were greeted by the Head of Air Mauritius and were told he had upgraded Ronnie and I to First Class. We had our own Airbeds and everything. We felt like royalty. We arrived in Mauritius where Narelle had surprised us with a Jag for our transfer car and my parents with a luxury 4wd. The guests had a nice airconditioned bus. On arrival at the Belle Mare Plaqe we were all shown tables next to one of the pools where we ate a complimentary breakfast and had drinks while we waited to be shown to our rooms. All our guests had their rooms before the allotted 2pm check in time which was fantastic. The hotel and staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need and queries during our stay. We met with the chef and the florist the day before the wedding and were surprised that they could organise everything in that time frame. They did an awesome job were spot on time, and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better cake or flowers. The hotel had their own hairdressers and makeup artists. They also supplied us with a tailor to take in one of my bridesmaid dresses. They also steamed the men’s suits. We had the La Spiggia restaurant privatised, which looked fantastic. Even though it rained all day and night (a wet knot is harder to untie so they tell us J ) and we had to go to Plan B it was still absolutely perfect. The food was impeccable with the service to match. At the end of our guests stay they were put back on the bus and the team from Belle Mare Plague waited and served drinks then waved off. It truly was a magical experience and we would definitely go back to the Belle Mare plaque and cannot fault them in any way.  We still can’t believe how perfect our whole wedding experience was.

Narelle and her team did a fantastic job and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them for your dream wedding.

Thanks Again

Chandara Resort & Spa - Thailand

Thank you so much for organising our wedding, it was absolutely fantastic!
The wedding ran very smoothly and everyone you hired for us was brilliant.
Thank you so much for setting it all up so well.

Chandara Resort & Spa were particularly brilliant. They went absolutely over and above what we could have expected.  It was phenomenal. In particular Robert and Karn were extremely kind, patient and helpful.  They communicated with us every day to make sure everything was getting done, Robert even jumped into the kitchen to help out on the wedding night. Outside of the wedding they were amazing too. Robert upgraded us to the most amazing villa in the resort, made sure to introduce himself to all our guests, and when 34 of us descended on the pool bar the night before the wedding he took on a role of waiter and served us free snacks.  The night after the wedding they organised a band to play by the pool bar for my cousin, for free, as it was his birthday! Brilliant place, couldn’t recommend it more.

Actually the entire resort was amazing.  The housekeeping manager coordinated all the flowers and settings, the restaurant manager helped us work out how to fit everyone in. They even printed name tags and personalised menus for us.  And to top it off they brought in truck loads of pot plants and flowers just to make the restaurant look nicer from the front!

Marek was brilliant. He created such a beautiful ceremony, very personalised and contemporary.  So many people told me afterwards that he was the best celebrant they had ever heard.
Daeng took amazingly gorgeous photos! He was so good. He even brought two assistants with him to help out.
The Hairdresser was really great too. She arrived with her assistant and a translator well before the set time. She was extremely fast and professional and did an amazing job. Definitely recommend her too.

The Honeymoon was amazing, Phi Phi island Village, the beachfront Villas were fantastic. We had a huge room with a spa bath and two balconies. The banquets at the Marlin Restaurant were brilliant, we had one nearly every night.
Kandaburi was lovely. The hotel manager came out to introduce himself when we arrived and presented us with champagne and a wedding cake which was a really lovely touch.

Thanks again for all your help

Hayman Island - Australia

Our dream was to get married in a beautiful location and have a small, intimate wedding, so Narelle recommended Hayman Island.  It was truly the best experience of our lives and one that neither we nor our guests will ever forget.  Hayman Island was the perfect location, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful.  The wedding day was stress free and we didn’t have to worry about a thing, it all just seemed to happen.  Many thanks to Narelle and staff at Global Weddings & to Monique and staff on Hayman for making our dream wedding come true!

Kata Thani - Pkuket,Thailand

Daniel and I would truly like to thank Narelle and all the staff at Global Weddings for organising the best day of our lives.
Our experience with Global Weddings and Jet Set Rowville began a year prior to our wedding, where our third visit to Phuket was used to view the possible locations for our ceremony. We had previously met with Narelle to discuss all the things we should be looking for and possible resorts. We were very pleased when we viewed the first and only resort Kata Thani. We fell in love with it on the spot and enjoyed relaxing for the rest of the trip!
Upon returning to Melbourne we discussed all the minor details with Narelle and began arranging all the accommodation and flights for our guests. In the end we had 60 family and friends fly over to Phuket for our wedding. She was amazingly helpful with trying to get groups of people on the same flights, not to mention the same resort for accommodation. Every intricate detail for a perfect wedding was planned to the tea by Narelle, from the cake to the flowers, the celebrant to the photographer and videographer, the ribbons on the chairs to the DJ; we even think she had a hand in organising the perfect 38 degree day which was in the middle of the wet season in Thailand!
Six months before we were to marry we had some major medical issues to deal with; not knowing if the wedding would go ahead, we kept planning anyway and tried to stay positive. In the most emotional situation we have ever been through, Narelle was still there to provide her support with caring emails and phone calls. With the all clear 2 months before the wedding, plans were in full motion and we were counting down for the big day. Time flew quickly and I think this was down to the outstanding organisational skills from the Global Weddings Team!
Once over there, we received emails to ensure that everything was going to plan and found comfort in the fact that Narelle was on call just in case. The icing on the cake was the congratulatory note which was sitting nicely with the bottle of champagne upon returning to our honeymoon sweet.
For our honeymoon we travelled to Koh Samui where we were to stay for four nights. Not entirely satisfied with our new surroundings we decided to head back to Bangkok two nights early. Narelle made all of these last minute arrangements with no complaints at all, and had us on the next flight out.

Other than our best man ending up in hospital from food poisoning on the actual day, our wedding was picture perfect and I find it hard that anything else will be able to beat it. Our special memories were created stress free and we have Narelle to thank for that. Words can’t describe how thankful we are and we look forward to booking our anniversary trip with the Global Weddings team.

Thankyou for making our dreams come true!

The Legian - Bali

Just wanted to say a massive great thank you from both Jim and myself for helping us have the most spectacular wedding in Bali.

Without your help and advice, we would never have discovered the amazing Legian Hotel and Beach House and been introduced to the most idyllic venue for our wedding. We’re so glad you advised us to look at Bali (we had been fixated on Fiji if you remember!) as it ended up offering us exactly what we wanted: a classy, elegant and sophisticated wedding with excellent food, service and wedding vendors. Not to mention it was a much better location for people from 6 continents to get to!

Wanting everything to be perfect, I loved having two wedding co-ordinators on the day (one for the boys and one for the girls) and there was nothing that Widya and Sanjaya wouldn’t do for us. No task was too big or too small and their years of experience made their suggestions and advice invaluable. They organised everything from the cake (including the collection of the Lindt balls I’d brought over), the flowers, bits and pieces in the bathrooms and precisely how I’d asked the décor to be. The 100-person strong fire dancing act on the beach was absolutely spectacular and something everyone is still talking about to this day. That would most certainly be something I recommend to anyone else having a wedding at The Beach House.

On the day I was completely cool, calm and collected and had nothing to worry about as I knew everything was in very capable hands. I can honestly say that not one thing went wrong on my wedding day – not even the weather which was perfect (Widya told us she’d sent an email to the gods – clearly, it worked as either side of our wedding day it had rained!). From the welcome drinks to the rindik music, to the classical and blues bands, the 8 Balinese flower girls and gong announcing my entrance (which is something I could get used to!) to the outstanding food - it continued to be all above and beyond our expectations and certainly something that you’d never get anywhere else in the world.

I’m sure we were sending you mad with all our constant phone calls leading up to the wedding, but you had a very calming influence and ensured that all would be well. And all was. Your in-depth knowledge of Bali is invaluable to anyone planning a wedding over there as you seem to know everyone and everything!

Again, thank you so much for your hard work and effort in bringing our spectacular wedding together for us. It really couldn’t have been any more perfect and we are both so glad that we chose Global Weddings to help us pull it all together.
Thank you so much for helping us pull together our fantastic wedding in Bali.

Its greatly appreciated the massive effort you made to make it such a memorable and truly stunning event.
Everyone was incredibly impressed and they are saying that they feel sorry for the next wedding that everyone has to go to as it just could not compare!
You did am absolutely sterling job and we are so, so grateful.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Sonaisali Island Resort - Fiji

Thank you very much for your very kind gift and the welcome from the airline crew. Our many friends and family on our flight were there to enjoy the moment with us and the celebrations began in fine spirits.

I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding such a wonderful occasion. The wedding and our reception exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have been happier. Sacha, Lena and in particular David worked extremely hard to ensure that our wedding was everything that we hoped for, not even the rain could deter David from giving us our outdoor reception! Our formal reception concluded at around 11pm at which time some of our guests retired for the evening and everyone changed into sulus and boardshorts and continued the party at the zero bar...the evening concluded with the majority of the guests as well as the bride and groom, cooling off in the resort pool into the wee hours of the morning!

We would also like to thank David for organising the private BBQ function for all of our guests the evening before the wedding. It was a wonderful way for our late arriving guests to become acquainted with everyone.

I have also given your details to a friend of mine from work as she would like to organise a similar wedding in Fiji for 20 guest's later in the year.

Once again thankyou so much for our wonderful day,

Daydream Island - Australia

We would like to express a most sincere thanks to you for helping us make our wedding a dream come true for us and our families.
From the moment that we first decided to go to Daydream Island we've had nothing but pleasant experiences. You demonstrated much patience with us and helped make a very stressful time easy to handle.

The bookings (accommodation & flight packages) you set up for our 14 family members were flawless making it a great experience for a lot of the first time travellers.  The wedding itself was everything that we had hoped it could be.

The location breathtaking, beautiful...with the sun setting over the ocean making a lot of the pictures that were taken absolutely amazing. All of our family and friends could not help but boast about how this wedding was the most magical wedding they had ever been to! Grant and I completely agree with them, it was a fairytale wedding, the ceremony thanks to colleen was extraordinary, the reception location again I was speechless when I saw how perfect it was.

To top it off the staff at daydream island were all very friendly. They recognised that it was our wedding day and made us feel very special and important. They were also very flexible with any requests that we had, which was a really big thing for us.

Thank you once again Narelle, you have been fantastic from start to finish, words cannot express how grateful we are. We will be seeing you again for our next holiday destination :)

Shangri-La Fijian - Fiji

Choosing a destination wedding in Fiji was easy, finding someone that could organise everything for us proved difficult. Upon exploring the internet, we came across the Global Weddings website and made contact. Narelle was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful and we had no hesitation in choosing Global Weddings to organise our special occasion.

With the destination selected, we opted to wed at Shangri-La's The Fijian Resort. Overwhelmingly, 50 guests decided to join us in Fiji, many staying with us for a relaxing week's holiday at the same resort. It was a memorable time had by all as we spent our days by the pool sipping cocktails, dining in the restaurants or beach bars, dancing the night away in the Marlin Bar and watching the waves lap across the beach's shore during sunset. What made the whole experience more memorable was the lack of stress leading up to the wedding. Narelle ensured all details were taken care of.

We were married in the Seaside Chapel which is breathtakingly beautiful as it is located in an idyllic spot on the manicured golf course overlooking the tropical beach. A Fijian choir sang hymns and we placed a memorial wedding plaque engraved with our names and date of wedding within the Chapel surrounds. Our reception was held on a beautiful balmy tropical night in the outdoors on a deck which overlooked the beach and was surrounded by palm trees glistening with fairy lights. Very romantic!

The first leg of our honeymoon was spent sailing the Fijian Islands on a `Blue Lagoon' cruise ship and we had the best time. We would dock each day and swim and snorkel in the most beautiful beaches. We then stayed at Tokoriki Resort. Narelle said that we would love this resort and she was absolutely correct. Tokoriki Resort was magic. We stayed in a stunning Sunset Pool Villa and we had our own private pool. The staff at Tokoriki were brilliant and went out of their way to assist. The food was incredible and it was romantic eating next to an endless pool with a beautiful sunset every night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tokoriki.

We can definitely recommend a destination wedding and Global Weddings to help organise your dream. A destination wedding was fantastic as we were able to spend time with our guests before and after the wedding in a tropical location with great memories that will last a lifetime. Global Weddings were able to organise everything for us and our guests making the lead up to our wedding stress-free. We felt so relaxed knowing everything had been taken care of. Thank you to Narelle and her team at Global Weddings for making our special occasion everything we dreamed it would be.

La Pirouge - Mauritius

When Greg proposed to me it was an easy decision for me to say yes.  But it was a difficult decision as to which way to go in regards to a wedding.  We wanted to have an intimate wedding for two and not follow the traditional arrangements of a large wedding reception or family get-together.  Desiring our wedding day to be special, the idea of a destination wedding in Mauritius was spawned and concreted in our minds when we caught up with friends who had just returned from a holiday on the west coast of Mauritius and told of weddings they had seen whilst at the resort!

Armed with this information, I searched the internet to find out more about Australian weddings in Mauritius and searched for a resort on the west coast.  We decided upon La Pirogue, a five star resort nestled in Flic en Flac.  It boasted 10 acres of land, marvellous palm groves and manicured gardens, a choice of water and land sporting activities, intimate chalets and most importantly they offered destination weddings.  Contact with La Pirogue provided further information and they suggested using Global Weddings to co-ordinate the wedding arrangements.

We live in South Australia.  Global Weddings is based in Victoria, but this did not cause any difficulty in making arrangements.  Narelle Williams of Global Weddings was very efficient and undertook to ensure that the appropriate legal paperwork was in order for the wedding to occur. Narelle also arranged the accommodation and airport transfers.  We selected what we wanted in the wedding package and Narelle did the rest.  It was the most stress free way to arrange a wedding!  Close to departure time, Narelle forwarded the final wedding package details through the mail, which included a nice bottle of champagne!

When we arrived at La Pirogue, we found all the wedding arrangements were in place as promised.  Staff then made final arrangements such as selection of flowers, choice of cake and any extra services requested.  La Pirogue exceeded our expectations in their hospitality, professionalism and quality of their wedding arrangements.  We even gained a bit of notoriety in the resort as being the ‘Australian couple’ marrying there!  Everyone seemed to know us.

We spent a week in Mauritius.  We were required to attend court in the capital city, Port Louis ensure our application to marry was processed correctly.  Language was not a barrier, as English is the primary language in Mauritius.  The documentation processing is usually done two days before the wedding.  Again, Global Weddings had ensured this would all occur and co-ordinated this with White Sands Tours.

On the big day, we enjoyed beauty treatment at the Sugar Beach resort beauty parlour (sister resort to La Pirogue).  They did my hair, makeup and nails and Greg enjoyed a relaxing massage, manicure and hair cut.  La Pirogue ensured details such as pressing of the bride and groom outfit was done and that the flowers arrived on time.  The groom was given his own dressing room as he did not want to see me in my wedding dress – it was to be a surprise!

The wedding itself, was perfectly managed.  The horse and carriage collected me from the bungalow exactly on time, and took me around the resort to the Frangipani Garden where the wedding ceremony was to occur under a garden gazebo.  Holiday guests took snaps of me going past and clapped.  I felt very special.  La Pirogue provided beautiful flower arrangements for the gazebo and laid out the red carpet.  The ceremony was held in the afternoon.  It was simple and intimate and conducted by a marriage celebrant.  They even had tissues on hand.  Rose petals showered us as the ‘newlyweds’.   Champagne was poured and the cutting ceremony of the delicious almond sponge wedding cake was captured on video.  The video and the photographs taken were exceptional.  The video was professionally edited.  Every photo had a marvellous backdrop of tropical plants, flowers, the sea, mountains and of course a sunset.   La Pirogue even ensured a wedding photo was sent to family and friends by e-mail.  What fabulous memories of a special day.  Hotel guests clapped and cheered as we walked along the beach front.  A nice feeling!  We glowed with happiness as the new married couple.

La Pirogue provided afternoon tea in a private area in the open restaurant.  We relaxed and chatted as we looked across the stunning swimming pool and gardens.  Later, we moved to the beach front to a secluded spot on the private beach where a dining table for two was set up for the wedding dinner.   The path to our destination was lit up with tea candles and a bonfire glowed against the starlit evening sky.  The four course a la carte dinner included fresh lobster and was fantastic.

Upon returning to our chalet, we discovered the staff had decorated the entrance with flowers and laid out wedding gifts on the bed.  They had sprinkled purple bougainvillea petals on the bed and made two swans out of white bath towels.  A bottle of champagne was on ice and the remainder of the wedding cake was provided with plates.  This was a marvellous touch to the end of the wedding day.  In the morning, La Pirogue provided breakfast on the terrace of the chalet.  Freshly picked little red flowers decorated the pristine white tablecloth.  A huge selection of fresh fruits, hot breads, yoghurts, smoked fish, bacon, omelettes and anything else of choice was available.

The wedding was a most wonderful moment of our lives.  People say Mauritius is expensive, but I believe our wedding and holiday was not as expensive as some might imagine an that we could have easily have spent twice if not three times as much on arranging a wedding in Australia.  In fact we even flew business class with Air Mauritius because it was affordable!  The quality and presentation of our photos and video are exceptional and for a fraction of the cost one would expect to pay in Australia.  All our photos have stunning backdrops and of course, the weather and water was magnificent.

Thanks must be made to Narelle Williams of Global Weddings who made all of this happen so easily.  She took all the worry and pressure out of arranging a wedding which allowed us to simply enjoy the moment.

We have promised ourselves to return to La Pirogue for an anniversary.   La Pirogue’s efforts in creating the right atmosphere, proven experience in providing perfect weddings and their marvellous hospitality will forever convince us that we chose the right destination in Mauritius for our wedding.   Destination weddings are the way to go!

Sonaisali Island – Fiji

Michael and I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you for making our wedding in Fiji such a huge success. Every part of our trip was just perfect, the resorts were amazing and the wedding went off without a hitch.
Thought out the entire planning process Global Weddings was incredibly helpful, professional and quick to respond to our enquires and all the suggestions you made about how to spend out time in Fiji suited us perfectly.
Sonaisali resort was beautiful and the staff were really friendly. The wedding planner 'Sirali' was amazing. He was so patient (the groom was a little stressed out!) and did an awesome job of coordinating everything on the day.

Malolo Island was beautiful and exactly what we needed after the wedding.

It was so peaceful and relaxing we almost didn't come home...

We would also like to thank you for the beautiful gift you sent us. It was very unexpected and we were extremely grateful.
Thanks again for all your help and we'll be in contact next year when we plan an anniversary trip!

Malolo Beach Resort, Fiji

We would like to thank you and the team for helping our day be so fantastic.  We always thought coordinating 40 different people's travel and organising a wedding would be difficult, but you and the team on Malolo Island made it a breeze!

From the moment we arrived in Fiji, everything was taken care of.  From the marriage registration, to the coordination of the celebrant, photographer, flowers and even the cocktail party - it all happened like clockwork.  It was the perfect setting for the casual and relaxed wedding that we both wanted, in the perfect setting surrounded by great friends and family, plenty of cocktails and fantastic food!

The whole trip was perfect, and without your help, Va and Emily it would never have happened!  A very special thank you to Marianne (F&B Manager) who ensured everything was 'sweet' (as she would say) and to Methy who always gave us a smile as we invaded the beach bar!

It is an experience all our guests agree was perfect, and we all will be talking about it for a very long time to come.

Thanks again,

Sheraton Mirage, Port Douglas. Australia

Thank you very much for helping us organise our wedding. Your assistance was invaluable and ensured that our day ran smoothly and everything was perfect.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we were put in a situation where we had to change wedding venues at a very late stage and the help provided by yourself and Global Weddings was a lifesaver.

Global Weddings helped us to select a new wedding venue that suited our needs. Various recommendations and costings were submitted with unbiased opinions on each of the venues/resorts in a range of different locations.

From there Global Weddings continued to provide impeccable service. Acting as our agent, they worked with the wedding co-ordinator and the food and beverage manager at the resort providing options and recommendations and ultimately ensuring that our requirements for the wedding were met. This included set-up of the venue and chapel, table decorations, place cards, table seating, lighting, food selection and catering.

In addition. Global Weddings sourced and then liaised with a wedding celebrant, florist, cake maker, DJ etc all from the local area. We did not have to worry about a thing, Global Weddings did everything and ensured we had the wedding of our dreams.

On top of all of this they were able to negotiate a very attractive accommodation package for us and they also offer a travel service and can help you with your flights. It is a one stop shop for destination weddings, you couldn't ask for anything more.
Their service is provided on a national basis even though they are located in Victoria. Initially we were a bit hesitant as we were unsure as to how this would work considering we are based in Sydney however this was not a problem whatsoever. The entire wedding was planned via email and telephone and we were kept up to date with the progress the whole way through. Any questions we had were answered that day or the next.

The service that Global Weddings provides is well worth the minimal fee charged. From beginning to end all of the angst and worry was taken out of our wedding plans, their efficiency and professionalism was so greatly appreciated.
We would thoroughly recommend the service that Global Weddings provides to anybody that is getting married. You'd be crazy not to employ their services.

Aquamarine Resort, Phuket

We were planning an overseas wedding for 50 guests. Now we needed to find someone to HELP!! Discovering Global Weddings at the Melbourne Bridal Exhibition was the key and we never looked back.

We were given so many choices, provided with photographs, even video. They were exceptional.

Finally settling on Bali, Global Weddings organised all of our travel arrangements. They were prompt, thorough and extremely reliable, friends and family even commenting on the quick email replies. Little did we know that this was just the beginning? After the tragedy in Bali we were forced to make the decision to relocate. So with three weeks until the wedding date we decided on Phuket, Thailand.
The following day all 50……… yes 50 family and friends had been booked on flights. Brett and I were there at Global Weddings to witness first hand the teamwork and long hours the girls put in.

Determined not to stop until we were all re-booked, Global Weddings were right there at 7.00pm sending us pictures of accommodation for all of our guests to view during an emergency wedding get together. Global Weddings have a way of making you feel like a valued client, by doing the little things like, making sure we always had refreshments, lunch, champagne, bubbles, candles and all of those romantic things to take away with us. They were even thoughtful enough to send heart felt letters and cards of best wishes and congratulations.

I CAN’T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT GLOBAL WEDDINGS, A COMPANY WHO SHOWED THE UTMOST PROFESSIONALISM AND RE-ASSURANCE THROUGH WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A STRESSFUL SITUATION AND WHEN THE GOING GOT TOUGH, THEY WERE RIGHT THERE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.

Sonaisali Island – Fiji

I really don’t know where to start, our whole wedding experience has just been amazing and with out Narelle l am sure the experience would not have been so smooth. In fact without Narelle we would have never found Sonaisali Island.

Sonaisali Island is a beautiful resort island 4 minutes off the mainland about 20 minutes form Nadi. They are really reasonably priced and easily accessible 24 hours a day meaning our guests could stay on the mainland if they chose to. While we were on the island we were invited to a managers party where we got to meet other couples about to or who had just tied the knot. It was clear from talking with all these people how versatile Sonaisali is in creating a unique wedding experience based on each couples needs and desires. There were couples wanting a private ceremony followed by a private candle lit dinner on the beach whilst others like us were sharing a bigger occasion with 40 guests. Lavenia the wedding coordinator on Sonaisali was sensational and perfectly executed extra details we wanted accommodated.

The other fantastic thing about Sonaisali is their activities, because we had so many friends over we were able to enjoy a range of activities with them prior to the wedding such as snorkeling on Turtle rock (highly recommended!) and we also booked out the catamaran sunset cruise 2 nights before the wedding which allowed everyone to get to know each other, it was unlimited Champaign too! All the activities were really fairly priced and there was a huge variety catering to all ages and abilities.

There were just so many newly created memories from this one small occasion in our lives, Narelle you have been absolutely brilliant! At every step you have been there with helpful tips and your organization and communication left nothing for us to be concerned about. Just a quick email to let you know that we are now MARRIED!!!!!  the wedding was fantastic! it was the most brilliant day - absolutely perfect. The resort/island was like a paradise...... and everything on the day ran smoothly.

We started the day off with a champagne breakfast, then several hours in the spa (massages, facials etc etc). It was relaxing. Then after lunch it was time to get ready. We met for some photos prior to the wedding - at around 4.30ish, the actual wedding was at 5.15pm, just as the sun was setting. It was beautiful.

After the ceremony it was time for more photos, then onto the reception. We had tables set up on the beach (by fire torches & candle light) and had a wonderful traditional Fijian banquet, followed by dancing barefoot on the sand while Hayz's brother Brian entertained us.

So all up, a wonderful time was had by all.

Yasawa Island.  Fiji

We made it home, safe, sound and MARRIED!

The experience was absolutely amazing, I am so happy that we opted for Yasawa Island. Words cannot describe the place itself, nor the people who work and live there.....

Sheraton Laguna Resort.   Bali

Thank you GLOBAL WEDDINGS for organising the most incredible romantic wedding and honeymoon that any couple could want.  The "Bale Benyang" on the beach at Nusa Dua looked spectacular, decorated in true Balinese style, the sunset, candlelit dinner which followed the ceremony was very sumptuous with impeccable service from the Sheraton staff making us feel like royalty.  The photographer did a fantastic job with our photos and the frangipani and orchids in the Bridal bouquet were exquisite.

The transfers and various places in Bali during our honeymoon were handled with the utmost efficiency by the very friendly staff of GLOBAL WEDDINGS.

Thank you again for giving us the most beautiful exotic wedding, a dream come true.

Feedback from Website

My Fiancée and I came and met with Narelle on Saturday and we were absolutely impressed with the destination knowledge and level of customer service provided by Narelle. If first impressions were the only issues we had to consider we would have no problem in booking with Narelle.

Thank-you for eliminating any concerns we were having with arranging an international wedding. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Malolo Beach Resort, Fiji

Getting married in Fiji was the best decision we have ever made.  The second best decision was letting Narelle and the team at Global Weddings organise it for us.
With Narelle acting as our wedding co-ordinator, everything was so simple and stress free.  We simply discussed with Global Weddings what we wanted and they organised the rest…ceremony, reception, flowers, music, photographer, flights, accommodation.  Not just for us, but all our guests as well.  With these details all take care of, there was nothing left for us to do but relax and await our exciting day.

Malolo Island Resort is simply beautiful, and the Island staff could not be friendlier.   For us our wedding started from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel really special.  We were greeted by serenaders, cocktails, traditional wedding leis and champagne on ice awaiting us in our upgraded room.

We will never know the stress most brides and grooms endure.   Our Wedding was perfect, fun, relaxed, intimate and extremely romantic.   Beautiful weather, gorgeous surroundings, fantastic food and the most spectacular sunset. Our guests have not stoped raving about our wedding and are all looking forward to some day heading back to Fiji.

We could not have dreamed of a more prefect wedding – so romantic, so intimate, truly unforgettable! Narelle we can not thank you and the team at Global Weddings enough for truly making our fairytale wedding not only come true, but exceed even our expectations.

We will definitely be going back to Malolo Island, as it is now an extremely special place for us.

Thanks again
